The Pousada Céu de Estrelas in Ibitipoca offers a variety of advenuture " high adrenaline" sports. The pousada offers rappeling and rock climbing for varying levels, from beginners to advanced. The novice level rock climbing may start at the 12 foot boulder or 70 foot rock wall. Both areas of basic levels, and more advanced levels. The small boulder is smoother and has less areas to place your hands and feet. This rock requires more technique. The rock wall is higher, has a breathtaking view, and has many natural crevices to place your hands and feet. The more advanced boulder is 54 feet high and rated a level 8. This is truly for the advanced rock climber since only one person to date has successfully climbed this rock, the instructor who put all the rappel and rock climbing paths together at our pousada. The rock has a high degree of "negativity" meaning it is inverted. This path truly requires strength and technique.
